Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Hollywood

As the crisp autumn air settles in and the days grow shorter, Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood emerges as the ultimate destination for thrill-seekers and horror enthusiasts alike. Nestled within the iconic Universal Studios Hollywood, this annual event transforms the park into a chilling maze of frightful attractions and spine-tingling experiences.

With a legacy of crafting nightmares and unleashing terror, Halloween Horror Nights invites you to step into a world where your deepest fears come to life. Whether you're dodging fearsome monsters in heart-pounding mazes, or braving the haunted streets, this year’s lineup is already delivering a ghoulishly unforgettable experience for those who dare to attend. Ready to test your courage and embrace the macabre? Let’s dive into the dark delights that await at Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood!

8 Movie Quality Haunted Houses

The event features elaborate haunted houses with intricate set designs, special effects, and professional actors who create a spine-chilling atmosphere. Each house showcases a unique theme based on scenes from popular horror films or TV shows, as well as new original concepts. Some of our favorites from this year give a nod to A Quiet Place, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, and a creation form the mind of Grammy winner The Weeknd.

The Terror Tram

Terrifying Blumhouse characters have taken over the Terror Tram. Face the murderous android M3GAN. The Grabber. And more.

4 Sinister Scare Zones
As if the houses weren't enough, 4 scare zones scattered throughout the park are filled with costumed scare actors ready to set the mood for one of the scariest nights you can experience at a theme park. This year features 4 different zones each with it's own terrifying theme.
Luchadores Monstruosos

¡Ojo! You’re about to get caught in the middle of a Lucha Libre horror film as two luchadores battle masked monsters.

Murder of Crowz

You’ve foolishly ventured into a massive crow’s nest. Now the fearsome flock will descend upon you and peck your bones clean.

Chainsaw Punkz

Get revved up for your night of terror as soon as you enter. Chainsaw-wielding punk rockers with masks and mohawks will close in on you.

Skull Lordz

All hail the royal court of the undead, where gothic kings and queens reign. Beware! Cross into their spectral kingdom at your own peril.

Live Entertainment

In addition to the haunted houses and scare zones, there are live shows that add to the Halloween spirit.

The Purge: Dangerous Waters

This fiery stunt spectacular puts you in the world of The Purge like you’ve never seen it before.

Late Night with Chucky

Chucky’s your host and he’s ready to roast. Be a part of the audience of his killer new live talk show.

Thats's Not All

On top of all of the scary fun mentioned above, you can also enjoy these awesome experiences:
HHN Hollywood offers themed food and drinks that fit the Halloween vibe. Think along the lines of eerie eats and spooky cocktails that make for a fun and immersive dining experience. Plus, you can snag a coveted Chucky popcorn bucket. He'll be your friend until the end.

Halloween Horror Nights merchandise including clothing, souvenirs, and collectibles that you can’t find anywhere else.

Unique Photo Ops: Throughout the event, there are themed photo opportunities with elaborate props and backdrops, perfect for capturing memories of your terrifying night.

Fun fact about HHN Hollywood from our agent Kirsten, who recently attended a special event hosted by Universal Destinations:

" While frequent visitors to Universal Orlando Resort will find a number of familiar sites at Universal Studios Hollywood, there are so many things that make the West Coast park unique. The most important, in my opinion, is the fact that Universal Studios Hollywood is not just a theme park, but it’s also a working film studio. The Studio Tour allows guests to take a tram through the backlot, a true behind the scenes look into film and television production. And even better, guests on a (highly-recommended) VIP Tour get to step off their tour vehicle and walk around on actual film and television sets, perhaps take a stroll through a real prop warehouse, learn about a soundstage while standing inside of it, and more. It’s the perfect way to experience the backlot, and to learn about the origins of what is now Universal Studios Hollywood." Check out the scary good time our MMV Agents Kirsten (pictured) and Lindsay, had!
