When you think of a Walt Disney World vacation, it's important to ask yourself "What type of resort do I picture myself at?". Do you want to feel like you're somewhere tropical? Do you want to feel one with nature? Do you want a quiet, laid back resort? These are all great questions. Well, if you find yourself saying "I want to stay somewhere that makes me feel like I'm the king of the castle," Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is a great place to start. The Walt Disney Travel Company describes this resort as a place where "Victorian elegance meets modern sophistication." But we'd like to think of it more like you're "one-stop shop" for that checklist you've been making regarding your vacation. Let's grab our parasols and take a stroll around Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and check out why it may be right for you.
The Resort Breakdown
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is considered the top of the line when it comes to Walt Disney World Resort hotels. It offers a wide range of resort categories that sleep 3 - 12 adults. These rooms offer views of everything from a garden view to that iconic castle view so you can watch nightly fireworks. That means no matter the size of your family, this resort has a room made for you. Not only do rooms at the "Grand Flo" offer a wide variety of views, but the looks of the rooms themselves vary as well. Let's take a look!

Pictured above are some of the current looks for Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa rooms. The red and gold rooms, that offer a timeless Victorian style, are located throughout the Grand Floridian's Outer Building, all the way into its main building. If you slide over to the Disney Vacation Club portion of this resort, you'll find the next two looks. Currently, the Deluxe Studios capture part of that classic feel you'll find in the non-Disney Vacation Club rooms. However, the regular studios (featured last) are giving us all the "vacation vibes" with this brand-new refurbishment.
We hope you're hungry

If you're needing something on the go, the "Grand Flo" has a great quick service offering at Gasparilla Island Grill. Sure it offers yummy breakfast, lunch, and dinner options like pizzas and burgers... but we're here for the desserts. No matter what time of year, you're sure to find something sweet that's IG-worthy.
If you're looking for a casual sit-down meal, stroll on over to the Grand Floridian Café. From breakfast to dinner, you can have an elegant but laid-back meal. Moving along to some of the Grand Floridian's "heavy hitters," we'll take a quick look at Citricos. This newly reimagined restaurant, inspired by Mary Poppins Returns, allows guests to "dine underneath the lovely London sky" while they enjoy Florida Cuisine with Mediterranean Flavors.
Not only is the dinner-only table service going to knock your socks off, but it also features an award-winning wine list. **Please note you're going to want to snag an Advanced Dining Reservation for Citricos and be sure to check the dress code for this "practically perfect" meal.**

While these two dining options are temporarily unavailable, once they reopen, we'll be sure to update this page to the magic you can experience here.
If you're looking for the perfect date night spot or a place to "adult," the Grand Floridian invites you to be their guest and grab a drink at the Beauty and the Beast inspired bar, Enchanted Rose. This lounge features "delectable dishes and shimmering sips" that are sure to have you feeling like royalty. While dining reservations are not offered here, this one-of-a-kind space fills up quickly.
